I stopped by the Built in Brooklyn Craft Fair at LaunchPad this weekend. As usual, I was delighted by the unique crafts and treats sold by the local artisans. We picked up some yummy banana caramel pudding from a vendor there–perfect for a dinner party after. Also, I traded in my husband’s interactive yoda and star wars light saber (which will make a great gift for a young Star Wars fan). Plus, we’re trying to clear some space for a new baby! All in all a successful visit to LaunchPad! See the photos below:

Went to Built In Brooklyn Craft Fair at Launch Pad this weekend. What a delight to see the Swap-o-matic up and running and a few of the items I had initially stocked the machine were traded out with new ones! As I entered, I caught someone in the process of donating to the machine (pics below). Also saw some really cool Brooklyn vendors, and picked up some neat earrings made from bicycle tubing made by a local artist.

We’re happy to announce that after many, many years of development and testing, the Swap-o-matic 2.0 is finally making it’s debut, and has found a new home at Launch Pad in Brooklyn, NY! Launch Pad is a creative gathering place focused on the arts, community programs, technology, and anything else that captures the imagination. Run and founded by the incredibly kind and friendly Michael Kunitzky, it’s an amazing space in Crown Heights/Prospect Heights Brooklyn that hosts a variety of local events that facilitate sharing and learning.
We’re so happy to have found such wonderful space for the Swap-O-Matic, and can’t wait to see what’s being swapped!
